Why it has a MAJOR edge.
#1. SONY has learned from its mistakes and apologized for their cockiness during PS3 launch(thank God)
#2. SONY has Fantastic undeniably great First Party Studios that kickass.
#3. PlayStation is a brand where games other than FPS can sell well. Fighting games, and JRPG's sell well on PS systems.
#4. SONY didn't go with the user game restrctions, No DRM, and no 24 hour online checks.
We'll see but in terms of RPG's i'm more than happy with "Tales of Xillia"
This is why I LOVE SCE First Party Studios. They make Games that seperate themselves from the Competition.
I Love Nintendo but their First Party studios generally barely ever create any new console IPs.
It wouldnt happen for 1 reason and that is SONY owns the Heavy Rain IP.

Seriously Square do us a favor and after the releases of FFXV & Kingdom Hearts 3. Sell those IPs to SONY cause at least they'll make FFXVI an RPG that is not creative but innovative.
Heck even Namco Bandai and their Tales series is gaining traction here in the states, where your FFXIII trilogy has pissed fans off cause we all wante FF versus XIII i mean FFXV.

I sure as hell miss the 90's when i was a kid, back then we didnt bitch about what console had the stronger specs. We were excited caus a new gaming console was coming out with great games. The degradation of gaming began in the 7th Generation. The extensive focus on FPS Oversaturation has irritated many gamers. At first i didn't care early on but as time went on it became apparently obvious that shooters were being focused on too much.games became easy ad in time that annoyed me beyond comparison, and the fact that devs decided hey lets focus more on graphics, less on innovative gameplay mechanics, oh and lets not forget that DLC 99% of the time is On Disc DLC which it shou...

The problem is simple and the same as the Dreamcast.
Right now there is a heavier weight of anticipation for the PS4 & XB1 so many gamers are skipping Wii U to get one or both of the other systems
The same thing happened 13 years ago with the Dreamcast, and it suffered heavily cause many people wanted a PS2 since it was a gaming machine and a DVD player but thats aside the point.

FF has lost its luster but FFXV is looking to brjng the series back. In conparison though Namco Tales isnt doing bad at all.
Personally Microsoft eventually winning sounds more like wishful thinking to me. They havent won a console war while SONY won 2 in a row. M$ also isnt going to be selling Xbone consoles like hotcakes next gen. Cause of their fuckups, and many people i know have their minds made up despite the reversal in policies they are not buying an Xbox one. Im getting a PS4 & Wii U but will be focusing more on PS4.
I really hope not cause FFXV is starting to show that the FF series still can have some Energy left in it though, but regardless I find that gradually their Competitor "Namco Tales" continues to get better and gain more fans WorldWide.

What makes the PS4 50% more powerful is simple. The answer is the RAM. DDR3 ram in XB1 runs at 2133 MHZ, while in comparison the PS4's RAM runs at 5500 MHZ.
